Wisest is a Swedish IT and business services company that helps businesses simplify everything from IT operations and financial software to accounting, marketing services and office solutions. Its own finance team works in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Before Aritma, payments ran through a hybrid setup. Wisest had built its own function in Business Central to create payment proposals and generate payment files in ISO 20022 format. Each file was then uploaded by hand and approved in the online bank. Incoming and outgoing payments were reported back through Camt054 files, which were also imported into Business Central manually.
As Robin Ljungberg, Head of Finance at Wisest, puts it:
– Our previous setup involved a number of manual steps, so this was absolutely something we wanted to move away from. We also had difficulties getting the matching logic to work against the old return files, which meant a lot of extra manual work.
Wisest already used Swebase, the Swedish localisation add-on for Business Central. When the team saw that Aritma also offered payment automation, the choice was straightforward:
– We already use the Swebase add-on, and when we saw that you also offer a solution for payment automation, it felt natural to go further with you, since we are happy with Swebase.
The goal was to remove the manual steps between Business Central and the bank, from uploading payment files to importing return files, and to get the matching of payments working without extra manual work. With Aritma integrated into its payment workflows, it has replaced that manual handling.
The biggest change is in the amount of manual work. As Ljungberg sums it up:
